“The words ‘fun’ and ‘remodel’ must not belong in the same sentence, because when Jan and I describe our remodel experience with Cedarwing Builders as being very fun, people seem to think we are a bit daft. Robert, Ivy and the Cedarwing team rebuilt our 1969 ranch style house on time, with no budget surprises and with tremendous attention to getting the details right. 

Courteous, tidy and responsive are also not words frequently used to describe those in the building trades, but this too has been part of our Cedarwing experience. If it was important to us they cared about it too, whether it was something large or a very small detail.

Throughout the project the flow of information worked beautifully both directions including by text and Facetime when we were traveling and away from the project.  In addition to being responsive to us, everyone at Cedarwing was also very aware of the effect of our construction on our neighbors and worked diligently to keep the adverse impact low and the neighborhood happiness high.

We have enjoyed great relationships with the whole Cedarwing team and with all the subcontractors as well.  Robert worked seamlessly with our outstanding architect, Russ Hamlet, to move our shared vision from plans to reality. Yes, it has truly been fun.  Our old home has been transformed into much more than we could have originally imagined.”
